We have tried a few different crepes here over the past couple of years and I think that they do both sweet and savory crepes really well. In fact, I would say that this place makes the best crepe "sandwiches" that I have ever had. The "Paris" crepe with raw veggies, pesto, and feta was one of my favorites (we added turkey for some protein). we recently had the bacon egg and cheese breakfast crepe and it was likewise delicious. The mix of a slightly sweet crepe and the breakfast eggs and meat was kind of like a fancy McGriddle (although I am sure that true crepe aficionados will disdain this comparison). The one downer of Profi's is that it is located in Reading Terminal. While this market is a great place to do some shopping and pickup food to-go, the dining experience is horrible in this bustling cramped space. Probably the best crepes I have ever had! Service was amazing, even got a little bit of a french lesson from the lady running the place. Definitely a 5 star restaurant and would recommend to anyone!

Profi's Creperie

A little taste of France in Philadelphia, Profi’s cooks up crêpes both sweet and savory. Pull up a chair and watch as the crêpe makers spoon ladles of batter onto round griddles. A few turns with a special wooden spatula spreads the eggy batter into a thin layer, and then a deft flip and a few folds later they hand the piping hot finished crêpe across the counter. Perfect for picky eaters, Profi’s will customize your crêpe to your liking.

We fill breakfast crêpes with egg, sausage, or cheese. At lunch, build your own or choose one of their combinations like grilled chicken with tomato pesto, or a Paris crêpe with spinach, tomato, cucumber, and olive. Whatever you choose, leave some room, because sweet crêpes filled with honey and apples or banana and Nutella will have you ready to book your next trip, whether to Philadelphia or to Paris.
